LOG ENTRY

Nature & portrait photographer · Coast of Maine

I make photographs of the natural world and the people and animals who move through it. I'm drawn to the small stuff first — macro studies of frost, feathers, fungi and the textures most of us walk right past — but I also love the opposite extreme, taking to the air for aerials of Maine's coastline, islands and forests. In between, I photograph portraits: honest, unhurried frames of people and the animals they love.

A little more

I'm based on the midcoast of Maine, and a lot of my work happens close to home. My photography has supported conservation efforts for Friends of Sears Island — helping protect Wassumkeag in Searsport — and I've contributed to community theater with the Belfast Maskers along the way.

I shoot a Fujifilm system and post field notes and new work on the Log.
